Gr. 3 Les communautés en Ontario

Students went home with a visual dictionary in their Cahier de lecture yesterday. Please review these words at home to help support the activities we are doing at school everyday.  We are going to be starting an inquiry project at school this week. Students will work in groups of 2 to create a slide-show on a rural community of their choice in Ontario. They will be researching the type of community it is (ie. forestière, minière ou agricole) and follow a model to include certain information in the slide-show (related to natural resources, jobs, etc...). They seem eager to begin the projects!

Les ressources naturelles en Ontario

Bonjour! This week's reading focuses on Ontario's natural resources. We are learning how natural resources help to create jobs (ie. farmers, steel workers, miners, forest rangers, etc). We watched a video today and will take part in various group and individual activities to deepen our understanding.
Please make sure to practise the reading at least 3X each week and initial the page every time.

Gr 3 "Mon petit livre pour la paix"

Bonjour! Your child came home today with a reading based on a booklet he/she is working on at school. Please practise this reading at home. Students will be evaluated on their reading pronunciation this week. You can listen to my pronunciation here: Mon petit livre pour la paix

There will also be a short multiple quiz this week as well.
